Welcome to GRIP!

The Graffiti Reduction & Interception Program (G.R.I.P.) is a web based database system that allows users to store crime case data. All users of the system, thus being able to show the combined area of statistics, can view the data and download data for case preparation and prosecution. Cities will be able to monitor the decline of activity through pro-active removals, apprehensions and monitor abatement crews work reports in any part of the city.

Our GRIP Program also includes many search features that allows users to do detailed and focused searches on existing data within the database. This includes data that will show monetary losses associated with individual violators and or groups. Originally designed to only track graffiti cases and damage, the program has grown to include other crimes. Using definitive search terms allows users to track all crimes by individuals across independent agency/city/suburb lines. This combined effort allows the case preparation and prosecution using crimes that occurred in multiple geographic areas. Our GRIP Program is a one-stop shop to gather, hold and display all evidence of crimes committed by individuals and or groups. With some modifications, the system has the ability to import GIS data. The GRIP Program will also export all data in a common GIS format for use by agencies that wish to import the data into their own GIS system.

The system has been designed and costed to enable any and all cities to take advantage of not only its capabilities for their own city but more importantly additional surrounding cities we refer to as "clusters".

The power of the system grows as each adjoining city, rail or other affected groups use the system.

These clusters of users share their data and information in a uniform manner using the same system, which will return masses of information on cross boundary offenders.
